Xbox Console Streaming expands to all Xbox One supported countries!

Streaming games to any device anywhere isn’t anything new but it is something more and more companies are getting on board with. Naturally, Microsoft refuses to be left behind, announcing that the preview version of their Xbox Console Streaming service is coming to every country that supports the Xbox One. That’s a lot of countries but, most importantly, that means Australia can get in on this.
Xbox Console Streaming allows players to stream any game that they currently own and have installed on your Xbox One, including Game Pass titles, on your Android phone or tablet! All streamed from your console! You could be out and about or just in a different room and feeling super lazy, the Console Streaming service ensures you can pick up that Gears 5 playthrough you’re doing on the fly.
So, you might be asking yourself, ‘How do I get in on this?’ It’s easy! Here’s a full list of what you’re gonna need:

  • You must be an Xbox Insider with an Xbox One console enrolled in an Update Preview ring.
  • A phone or tablet running Android 6.0 or higher, with Bluetooth 4.0.
  • Bluetooth enabled Xbox One wireless controller.
  • A Microsoft account with a high-speed internet connection.

So, got all that sorted? Great! Now all you need to do is download the Xbox Game Streaming (Preview) app from the Google Play Store, and from there the app will guide you through a step by step process of how to set up your Xbox One and get to those sweet, sweet games.
So get out there, get some installing done, and go play some Viva Pinata or something! Do they still do those? I don’t think so! Play it anyway!
