To celebrate the launch of Rockstars’ newest launcher, they have released Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for us to download for free!
The launcher is currently only for PC but will most likely expand to both Mac and Linux, supporting games that are already on those systems such as GTA V.
The launcher provides automatic updates, a shop to buy the games as well as constant cloud saves!
To celebrate the launcher, Rockstar has been kind enough to offer us a free version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas to play for free, but the free download is only for a limited time, so make sure you download it now to save yourself paying for it in the future!
Currently, the launcher is very basic as it is still being built, but it works… and that all that matters!
The launcher has been met with mixed opinions though, many people being frustrated about another launcher being created to play the same games.
Here is exactly what’s going to happen: Rockstar will be pulling an Ubisoft. RDR2 will be “exclusive” to the Epic Games Store, but also available on Rockstars own launcher – but not Steam. This way Rockstar – ultimately TakeTwo – can take a larger cut at our expense… pic.twitter.com/EPioVGqDw2
