PAX Aus: Just how big is PAX?

PAX Aus’s exhibition hall is jam-packed full of booths from the mammoth PC vendor booths to the sprawling tabletop gaming area.
It’s one thing to check out an event based on schedules and maps. It’s a whole other wonderful experience seeing just how humongous the event is!
If you haven’t been able to make it to PAX, we’ve put together this slideshow just for you so you can see all the main areas and see how big it all is.

You can almost see the end of the hall (almost) from the Queue Hall entrance. Squint and maybe you’ll see the Retro Gaming sign up the back.

This is just one side of the Lenovo booth. The front end of it has its own dedicated tournament arena decked out with Legion gear:

When you pass by the MSI/Intel booth, definitely look up so you can check out the second level! What’s hiding up there? Streamers and gamers, of course ????

Wonder what the pink pony is for ????

All the Rooster Teeth DVDs, plushies, mugs and onesies!

Does this count as cage fighting? ???? There’s plenty of tournaments on at the two PAX Arena areas.

Dumb Ways to Die: Not just a cute advertising campaign. It’s now a VR game!

The PlayStation booth was so packed all we could see was people.

Meanwhile… outside the Exhibit Hall… Xbox/Forza was sporting this badass Porsche:

That is one. big. truck. ????

Who doesn’t like convention specials?

Love indie? You’d love PAX Rising. The area goes all the way down to the divider in the hall so there’s plenty of indie goodness there.

We’ve talked before about the PAX Indie Showcase. There are 6 Aussie devs with their own special booths towards the end of the PAX Rising area. If you want to learn more about who’s in the showcase, check out our article on it here.

Does anyone need some LARPing gear? Looks like we found a good place to buy some ????

So much tabletop gaming, so little time.

Good on the parents showing their kids retro consoles. They get to play pieces of history ????

If you’ve ever wondered what the internals of a pinball machine looks like, now you know ????

It’s hard not to feel some serious nostalgia looking through these display cases in the retro area.

Time Crisiiiiiiis. It brings back so many arcade memories.

Good idea to stop by the Merch Booth to grab some souvenirs. Be a champion: that awesome friend who grabs their friend some merch because they couldn’t make it.

Yes, all of the screens in the console area are huge resolution TVs because, why not?

Speedrunning is an art form. Shoutout to all the speedrunners out there ????
