Path of Exile is officially coming to mobile, with an official trailer that released on the 15th of November 2019.
The trailer opens with Co-Founder and Technical Director, Jonathan Rogers discussing the ‘bullshit’ natures of Pay 2 Win mechanics, health bars and micro-transactions, which hints at the developers creating the game avoiding these free to play mobile tactics!
During the trailer, we are able to watch the developers play the game and see how close it really is to the original PC version which released back in 2012!
The gameplay is still in pre-alpha but we can expect amazing things from the developers as it already is looking as sharp and as beautiful as we expect!
We’re working on an experimental version of Path of Exile for mobile devices. Path of Exile’s Atlas Map system is actually perfect for bite-sized action gameplay. This is a complete Path of Exile game experience with no pay-to-win elements and is being developed in-house at Grinding Gear Games.
