Key information including the contacting of chosen players by organizing officials, who notified players of their selection by a competing club in the E-League, before informing them that the draft picks they had were revoked.
This included all of the chosen New Zealand competitors, but none of the unselected. The players who were to miss out on draft positions have yet to receive any official correspondence.
