Announcing the DOTA 2 High School League Holiday Cup

LPL, New Zealand’s leading esports media company; has announced the inaugural Dota 2 High School League Holiday Cup.

Following on from the success of previous High School League tournaments; LPL is thrilled to introduce a new game to the league in an exciting one-time esports event; held shortly after secondary school exams in both Australia and New Zealand.
Registrations are now open for high school students across ANZ; with the opportunity for more than one team per school to compete. The first round of matches will begin on Saturday 1st December, with a grand final event hosted on Saturday 8th December. The top two teams from the initial seeds will battle it out in a best-of-three event on grand final day with the chance to win NZD $1,000.
The HSL gives an opportunity for secondary school students to compete in a competitive esports environment working together as a team and representing their school.
