After so long, Playstation have finally announced users will be able to change their PSN username starting in 2019!
They will be starting with a select group of users to test the program, which will end in November 2018. The first name change will be free, and any subsequent changes will cost $9.99, or $4.99 for PlayStation Plus members.
Additionally; when you change your name, you will have the option to display your previous ID with your new ID, so your friends can recognize you.
This feature is compatible with PS4 games originally published after April 1, 2018, and a large majority of the most-played PS4 games that were released before this date.
