Nielsen, a data and measurement company known for its work in the media and advertising industry has just announced Nielsen Esports.
Nielsen Esports sets out to measure and provide insights on sponsorships, fans, custom research and consulting services to help out rights holders, brands and platforms.
Nielsen Esports’ fan insights will cover the following regions in 2017: Japan, China, South Korea, US, UK, Germany and France.
As part of the move into esports, Nielsen has also created an advisory board specifically around esports which includes the following members:
