Mega Man X Legacy Collection and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 bring the iconic Blue Bomber’s classic futuristic side-scrolling adventures to modern platforms with a host of all-new features both for long-time fans and brand new players. The X series introduced several new features to the fast-paced action platforming Mega Man franchise such as powerful armour upgrades, wall-jumping, and more mature themes.

- Mega Man X Legacy Collection (includes X1-4) and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 (includes X5-8) will release on 24th July 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC.
- Put the Blue Bomber to work in multi-boss trials with the all-new X Challenge Mode complete with three difficulty options and online leaderboards.
- Fear not newcomers, we’ve introduced Rookie Hunter Mode which allows players to enjoy games found in both collections at a lower difficulty.
- There are three different visual filters to enjoy:
- Type 1 – Smooth filter for a cleaner crisper look
- Type 2 – Go retro! This filter simulates that of a CRT television
- None – Simply enjoy the original graphics scaled to fit modern screen sizes
- Feeling nostalgic? Select Museum from the title screen and look back at the history of the X series! Featuring original series artwork, catalogues of collectable merchandise; music player filled with new and original tunes; plus a fully voiced and animated short film that serves as a prologue to the events of Mega Man X.
- Iconic characters Zero and Axl made their series debut with the Mega Man X series! Players have the opportunity to select these characters in later entries of the X series; so be sure to check out their playstyle.
