This morning ESL have announced the first teams to compete at IEM Sydney 2018.
SK Gaming:
We are happy to welcome SK Gaming as the first team invited to Intel Extreme Masters Sydney! The Brazilians will return to Australia in May to defend their IEM Sydney championship title.
Currently 3rd in the ESL World Ranking with 2,194.2 points. Two wins in the Intel Grand Slam.

FaZe Clan
We are happy to welcome FaZe Clan as the second team invited to Intel® Extreme Masters Sydney! The European super team will join the Brazilian powerhouse, SK Gaming, and 14 other teams in the battle for the coveted trophy, and a share of the AUD$310,000 prize pool.
Currently 1st in the ESL World Ranking with 2,901 points. One win in the Intel Grand Slam.
