ACCOUNTING+ is out now: how to get it, trailer and more

ACCOUNTING+ is a follow up to the enjoyably disturbing VR game Accounting. The only way to describe the game is straight up surreal.
Rick and Morty fans rejoice! The latest VR game from the co-creator of Rick and Morty is here. It’s time for you to get your share of surreality because the game is now out.

What’s ACCOUNTING+ about?

For all of you who don’t know anything about Accounting (the first game, not the profession) or Rick and Morty, I’ll explain. Well, I’ll try to explain.
Based on the trailer, it’s pretty similar to the original Accounting game but it has more. It’s still sticking to the adventure game genre (with extra squanch thrown in). By the looks of it, you enter an accounting VR game (while in the game, yes). While in the game’s game, you meet a wacky cast of characters including what looks like a disturbed clown.
Or, if you’d like to try the description from the game creators themselves after calling it an adventure comedy:

Accounting+ features new things that the original did not have, continuing to combine the absurd creative sensibilities of William Pugh (The Stanley Parable), Justin Roiland (Rick and Morty) and Dominik Johann (Minit) to baffling extremes.
Before the 19th of December 2017 there has never been a video game in which you join a gang with A Dog voiced by Rich Fulcher (The Mighty Boosh)… But we used to live in dark and disturbing times.

How do I get my hands on ACCOUNTING+?

The game is available on PlayStation VR. Currently, it’s available for AU$17.95 in the PlayStation store. For PS Plus members, you can get it for AU$15.25 until the 3rd of January, 10:59 am (AEDT).

Watch the ACCOUNTING+ trailer

Personally, I absolutely love the Game of Thrones-inspired intro to the trailer. I should add that you may need to re-watch the trailer a few times to make sure you don’t miss anything. Enjoy!
